I am sitting at my desk at work, proudly wearing my Ryder Cup Shirt and wondering "Did we really go to Ireland?" After all the planning, the countless emails between everyone and the anticipation of going, it all seemed to go by in such a flash. I just wanted to say a big "Thank You" one last time for making all the arrangements for the hotels and golf. The hotel at the airport was great, Adare Manor was fantastic as was Dromoland. The golfing was superb and apart from Lahinch (where we got a bit wet) we lucked out with the weather. We were a great hit in our red, white and blue golf knickers at the Ryder Cup on Saturday, got a tip of the hat from Tiger Woods(twice), were cheered on by the wives of the US golfers, got photographed by numerous press photographers and finally got interviewed by Marty Morrissey of RTE TV sports channel - pretty cool, eh? Again, all the best to you and Pierce and thank you for arranging the trip. I will certainly let all of our friends know about you guys and hopefully some business will come your way from it. I am sure Sherry and I will be returning to the Emerald Isle one of these days and we will certainly be in touch if we do.

Our golfing experience at Ballybunion was memorable in that we were probably too excited to be there and played fairly. Old Head was quite an experience, pelting rain and 35 MPH gusts on the front 9 and sunshine and calm on the back 9. The consensus of the group was that we really enjoyed Tralee, Lahinch & Waterville for the type of course you would love to play over and over again.
