Golfing & Fishing

Tiger Woods does it. Mark O’Meara does it to name a few. They mix fishing with their golf. Ireland has some of the finest fishing rivers in Northern Europe and the River Moy is the best in Ireland. To facilitate our clients, we now have developed an itinerary mixing golf with fishing. This itinerary uses the Mount Falcon Estate as its centre with its fine 4 star hotel of 32 rooms, 45 luxury lodges and 2 miles of private double bank salmon fishing on the River Moy. With over 1000 salmon caught by rod in 2010, most customers go home with fond memories of salmon caught, ones that escaped and of a few pints of Guinness consumed.

Within a short distance from Mount Falcon are some of Irelands well known links courses like Enniscrone, Carne Belmullet and Rosses Point. Nick Faldo has big plans to develop a links golf course on Bartragh Island close to Enniscrone which would greatly enhance this area and would also help compete adequately with the southwest of Ireland courses.

Our golfing & fishing itinerary will be as follows:

Best fishing months are July to September. The fishery will provide all the necessary gear. As the number of rods allowed is limited, all fishing must be reserved in advance.
